woven from within

An archetypal parts work and somatic expression retreat for women

Accord, NY | October 16th-18th

A space for women to journey through the layers of the unconscious inner roles that we navigate life with (like the inner parent and inner child) and bring clarity and meaningful purpose.

We will work with art and talk therapy, yoga and meditation, and the forces of nature and story.

Lets journey into the heart of the bright orange and red hues of fall in the mountains, together, to alchemize pain into beauty and our experiences into wisdom through our senses and gifts.

your hosts:

Jillian is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist and Art Therapist with a passion for creating spaces where women can slow down, reconnect, and explore their inner worlds. Her approach blends creativity, mindfulness, somatic practices, and intuitive exploration. She has experience hosting retreats and women’s groups and is trained in Reiki, with additional study and practice in shamanism and other holistic traditions. Jillian believes in the power of creativity, community, and embodied experience as pathways toward deeper connection with ourselves and one another.

Jillian will be guiding us through an exploration of parts work, the idea that we each hold different “parts” within us, each carrying its own emotions, needs, beliefs, and protective roles.

Through guided meditation and mindfulness practices, participants will be invited to connect with these parts with curiosity and compassion. Jillian will also lead creative art-based exercises that offer an opportunity to bring these inner experiences into outward expression, deepen understanding, and explore the relationship between different parts of self.

Marely : With over 10 years of leading yoga classes, medicine ceremonies, and group experiences, my passion for the feminine arts continues to expand. Utilizing herbs, bodywork, archetypal stories and art to channel the feminine spirit and bring balance to it has been a fruitful journey. On this retreat I will be curating somatic practices such as dance, vocal toning, meridian yoga, TCM acupressure, and yin yoga sequences to assist archetypal work and inner weaving healing.

With inspirations from literature like women who run with the wolves, the wisdom of eastern medicine, and the heart of alchemizing my own pain to magic - I come ready to explore the inner landscapes of our lives and create something beautiful, together, in nature.

Parashakti Alexandra Spergel (Guest Teacher )

is a yoga educator, somatic practitioner, and founder of As I Am School of Yoga & Healing Arts. Her work weaves traditional yogic teachings with somatic practices for the female nervous system, supporting women in restoring connection to the body, resolving trauma, understanding their cyclical and womb-centered rhythms, and living with greater embodiment and agency.

With more than 700 hours of yoga training and 18 years of personal practice and teaching experience, Alexandra’s approach is rooted in classical Hatha Yoga and deeply influenced by the Sivananda lineage. Her teachers and greatest influences include Prem Sadasivananda, Lila Lolling, and Veronica Rottman of Waking Womb, among others.

Alexandra leads women’s retreats, yoga teacher trainings, courses, workshops, and classes, as well as private 1:1 somatic coaching. Her work bridges the wisdom of yoga with contemporary somatic education, creating spaces where women can learn the language of their bodies, nervous systems, and embody that wisdom throughout their lives.

Alexandra lives in Saugerties, New York, with her partner and their two-year-old son. She will be leading a somatic workshop on cyclical embodiment, creativity, and the nervous system at the retreat on October 17.
